Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

So your Valentine loves spin?

They have spin shoes, enough leggings for every day of the week, and getting them deodorant just seems a little offensive. With February 14th quickly approaching, you might be breaking a sweat (and not in the good way) over how to express your love…or your fondness — hey, we’re not putting a label on it. Wipe your brow because your FRC Fam has your (tap)back.

Whether you want to surprise your S.O, care for a friend, treat yourself, or finally clip in with the cutie on bike 17, our gift guide is sure to make hearts spin this Valentine’s Day.

1) Tell your Valentine to stop digging through their gym bag to find that other spin shoe. Vlirka’s Shoe Holster lets spin shoes breathe in between classes and makes forgetting them at home a little less likely. Just clip the holster to the outside of your bag or, for our minimalist riders, carry it by hand. We low-key hope Kylie purchases one of these so her rhinestoned spin shoes can double as a disco ball wherever she goes.

2) Roses are red, violets are blue, we don’t want to imagine a world without Ouai Super Dry2 Shampoo. This product will take your Valentine’s hair from “I need a hat to leave the house” to clean, volumized, and date-night ready. Word to the wise: just because it smells like roses doesn’t mean you can skip out on getting them some.

3) Ostroy offers unique gear, streetwear, and accessories designed specifically for cyclists. Their products are functional, yet expressive. We love their view of cycling as “one of the rare opportunities adults have to flaunt their style.” Holding true to that statement, Full Ride goes off on the music, lights, and choreo — all we need for some extra style points is your Valentine doing a double tap body roll in Ostroy socks.

4) We might regret linking this, but the Under Armour water bottle makes it easy to stay out of the saddle and hydrate at the same time. It’s non-spill and light weight, so when your Valentine knocks their water bottle out of the bike’s cupholder, as every rider inevitably does at one point another, there won’t be any commotion about it.

5) With great sweat, comes great responsibility. Luckily for us, Skin Pharm's Clarifying Toner Pads brighten skin, tighten pores, and combat breakouts. These all-in-one, disposable pads are both effective and convenient for a quick refresh after class. Whether your Valentine has dry, normal, or oily skin, this product is sure to be a new favorite in their post-workout routine.

6) What does romance taste like? Ladybird Taco. After riding beside your Valentine at FRC, take them next door for some coffee and tacos. Well, unless your Valentine is Lauren; she’ll want the City Slicker Salad. Just trust us on this one – we searched “synonyms for love” and queso popped up.

7) Listen, there’s an important distinction between pheromones and odor. The Sweat Mate is a durable, reusable, and washable bag that entraps smells and moisture – perfect for holding your Valentine’s sweaty gym clothes until they can throw them in the wash.

8) Like love, foam rolling hurts so good. When you give your Valentine a foam roller, you’re also giving them tension relief, reduced inflammation, increased flexibility, and boosted lymphatic flow. Their workout can only be as good as their recovery — and this way, maybe you’ll be off the hook from that nightly massage…maybe.

9) When your Valentine is 30 seconds into a 60 second run out of the saddle, the last thing they want to deal with is hair falling in their face. Hair wax sticks, like this one by Samnyte, style, hold, and control hair without making it greasy or stiff.

10) Some people want a box of chocolate, others want jewelry, and nearly everyone wants a giftcard to Pure Sweat Studios, a wellness community in the heart of 12S that offers infrared sauna sessions. Is it possible to get all three? Asking for a friend.

Love can be complicated, but buying a gift doesn’t have to be. Your latest relationship status: Best Gift Giver Ever.

Xoxo,
Cupid Your FRC Fam
