Excited about daylight savings as much as the FRC team? We thought so. With our days stretching longer and the sun beaming a little brighter these days, we’ve collected a list of our top 10 places to spend your extra hour of daylight.

  1. Love Circle

A trendy and hidden spot, Love Circle, is the site locals refer to as Music City’s Lover Lane. It is located near Vanderbilt up a residential street that overlooks the city.

2. Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge 

Breathtaking views just minutes from the city. Catching the sunset from this vantage point is a must.

3. Radnor Lake

Radnor is known for its beautiful paths for long walks and scenic views. The park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 20 minutes after sunset year-round.

4. Arrington Vineyards

One of our favorite places in Nashville! Located just 40 minutes south of the city is the perfect place for socially distanced outdoor gatherings.

6. The Parthenon at Centennial Park

The Parthenon at Centennial Park is Nashville, is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. It was designed by architect William Crawford Smith and built in 1897. It is an urban oasis located in the heart of the city.

Fort Negley Park was a fortification built by union troops after the capture of Nashville during the Civil War, located just 2 miles south of the city’s center. A stones throw away from FRC and a cultivation of history and outdoors. A pristine experience in Nashville.

Want a creative view of the sunset? Drop by the capital building to admire the city scape.

9. LA Jackson

LA Jackson is located on the rooftop of the swanky Thompson Hotel with views of the entire Nashville Skyline. A spot for both locals and visitors alike! We strongly recommend a glass of the frozen rose just before sunset.

Looking for a new date night spot or a girls night out? With 360 degree views of the Nashville Skyline, this is the perfect place! An innovative American steakhouse with superb ratings is a great spot to spend your extra hour of daylight. Reservations strongly recommended ;)
